Getting Started with Hoopla

To create an account

• Click on "Get Started Today"

• Enter your email and password.

• Choose Haworth Municipal Library

• Enter your Haworth library card number. Entering library card will not be required once you are registered. 

 

If you forgot your password, click "forgot your password". Hoopla will email you a temporary password and change the password in the setting.

Use Hoopla on a computer

• Internet or Wi-fi connecton is required.

Use Hoopla on a phone or tablet using the Hoopla app

• Hoopla App must be downloaded to use the service on mobile devices. 

  • iOS for Apple devices​

  • Android devices

  • Amazon app for Kindle devides

• Internet or Wi-fi connection is required. 

• On Hoopla app, you can complete a temporary download to play content without an internet connection. This feature is only available on the hoopla app.

 

Please Note: If you don’t download content to your mobile device you may be using data when streaming content. Be sure to check that you are on Wi-Fi or viewing downloaded content to avoid data charges.

Loan Period

• Video: 72 hours (3 days)

• Music Album: 7 days

• eAudiobooks, ebook, comics: 21 days

All items return automatically, and do not have to be returned manually.​

Hoopla Kids

Kids Mode is the gateway setting for accessing everything in this multi-format, children's digital media experience. It's the place where you, and kids, will be able to discover all the great hoopla kids content, with one swipe.

Kids Mode is very simple to activate! Once you are logged into your account, click your email address in the upper right from a PC, or your settings on a mobile device. Then click on the Kids Mode box, scroll to the bottom and click update.
