Haworth Library card holders have 18 play credits/ tickets each month to watch films from Kanopy, our new media streaming service. (haworthlibrary.kanopy.com)
Haworth residents can now access a wide range of foreign films, documentaries, and classics through the popular on-demand film streaming service Kanopy. Films can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device, or platform by downloading the Kanopy app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast, or Roku. Videos are also accessible with captions, transcripts, and compatibile with assistive technologies.
The tickets reset on the first day of the month, and unused tickets don't roll over to the next month. You can see the remaining tickets for the month in the top-right corner of the homepage. As you browse for titles, you'll see the number of tickets required to watch each title and the loan period. With 2 ticket you can checkout a movie for 48 hours.
Kanopy kids offers a collection of movies and shows for kids.
Here you have unlimited plays so your kids are free to explore enriching, educational and entertaining content.
Parental Controls- Parents can ensure their kids are viewing age-appropriate content on Kanopy by setting personalized PINs that, when enabled, keep kids inside Kanopy Kids. A patron will need to enter their PIN to exit Kanopy Kids and access the General Audience collection.
Getting Started with Kanopy
What you need

A valid Library Card - The Kanopy service is open only to Haworth Library card holders.

The Kanopy app for iOS or Android (for watching movies on your phone or tablet)
To create an account:

Click on "ADD LIBRARY CARD"

Enter your library card and click continue.

Enter your first and last name, email address and a password of your choice. Click on Sign up.
Watch movies on a computer:

Access Kanopy from a computer by clicking on Log in and then entering the email address and password you used to create your account.

Browse by category or subject or search for the movies you want to watch.
Watch movies on a phone or tablet using the Kanopy app:

Once the app is downloaded, click on Log in.
